The CHED-UniFAST Cordillera officially aired its second episode of its radio segment ” UAQTEA Time” on ASC Radio following the successful signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA ) with Apayao State College on May 6.

“UAQTEA Time” went on a live stream at 2:00 P.M. via the official social media platforms–ASC Radio and Apayao State College-New and aired over Zeno FM: https://zeno.fm/radio/asc-radio-rcbt/

The episode featured Reylyn G. Sadama, a former CHED Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) recipient, who shared how the financial aid helped her overcome challenges in both her academic and personal life. She graduated in 2023 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at ASC and currently works as an Administrative Aide III in the Human Resource Management Office.

Anchored by station manager Sonia A. Belarde, other resource persons were Dr. Philip Constantine L. Mandac, ASC- UniFAST Focal Person / Director, International Affairs and Linkages Office / College Registrar; Marife Calimodag, Regional Coordinator, CHED-UniFAST CAR; and Jennylyn Pataras, Regional Coordinator, CHED-UniFAST CAR.

The “UAQTEA Time” segment focuses on the life-changing benefits of Republic Act 10931 known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA) that promotes universal access to quality tertiary education by providing free tuition and other school fees in State Universities and Colleges, Local Universities and Colleges, and State-Run Technical-Vocational Institutions, establishing the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Student Loan Program.
